Back Pain Flowchart

As an educator I love when someone organizes complex information in a simple visual way. Here is a simple flowchart by Body In Mind that looks at various signs and symptoms related to back pain and relates them to the possible cause of the pain.

The only shortcoming I see at first glance is that there is no real recognition of trigger points (myofascial pain syndrome) in their list of pain sources and as massage therapists we know that this can be a major factor in chronic back pain.

Thanks to Facebook Friend Don Solomon for bringing this back pain flowchart to my attention.
